We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Ward Attendant to join our healthcare team. The Ward Attendant will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to patients and medical staff within the hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in admitting and discharging patients from the wards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of patient rooms and the ward area.
• Help with the transportation of patients to various departments within the hospital.
• Ensure patients’ comfort and respond to their basic needs promptly.
• Assist nurses and doctors in patient care activities, such as changing bed linens, helping with feeding, and providing personal care.
• Transport medical equipment and supplies between different areas of the hospital.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Assist in maintaining patient records and documentation.
• Handle any other tasks as directed by the nursing and medical staff.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a ward attendant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
• Empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and transporting patients.
